For this week’s Essence of Now I’m going to focus on action. My photography skills are lacking in this area which is unfortunate since kids move so much, but at least I’m trying.
The big kid has been in mixed martial arts for almost a year now and is doing awesome with it.
She tested early for her blue belt.
And received the best tester award.
We are very proud of her and the work she has been doing to improve in her skills. Plus, the MMA classes have helped teach her more about responsibility and discipline.
Since I can’t leave the little kid out of the pictures here’s one from her at the park. Crazy outfit and all.

I love the action shots! So cool! (If you want to freeze her action, I’d start with a shutter speed around 1/500. My kids will blur sometimes even at 1/250. So I normally start at 1/320 and go from there.)
