People. I’m in love.
With soap.
But not just any soap.
No. This particular brand of soap.
From method.
And their beautiful bottles.
And their delicious smells (this is one of those times I wish computers had scratch and sniff screens so your nose could experience this too).
I may or may not have spent way too much money at Target on method products alone this last week (but don’t tell my husband, there are some things it is best he just not know).
In my defense, the method + Orla Kiely partnership is a limited edition collection only available at Target so I HAD to buy as many as I could before they sold out.
As it was, they were already out of the hand soaps in my favorite scent of Pear Ginger.
But that was okay because I bought the Pear Ginger all purpose cleaner (crap, does this mean I have to clean now?) and I have the Pear Ginger dish soap (I LOVE the pump bottle dispenser).
So I’ll put the Bay Leaf gel hand soap in the kitchen.
The Vanilla Chai foaming hand wash in my bathroom.
And the Primrose hand wash in the downstairs bathroom (to wait for the day that The Husband finishes remodeling it).
The kids’ bathroom though…that gets the Minnie Mouse foaming hand wash because I’m not letting their grubby little hands touch my beautiful Orla Kiely soap bottles.
They all smell so good even my sister was in love.
More than the looks and the smells of the method soaps, the products are naturally derived with no parabens or other nasty chemicals and they are biodegradable. The bottles are made from recycled plastic and are recyclable. Plus…there is no animal testing which really makes my animal loving child very happy.
So…if I did maybe, one day, actually make out with my method soaps it wouldn’t kill me.
Go follow method on Facebook and Twitter and then run out to Target today to buy up as many of the method + Orla Kiely products as you can fit into your recycled grocery bag. You will thank me, trust me.

I’m so glad I read this BEFORE my weekly trip to Target. I will be stocking up today. Seriously, I love the Method company and all they stand for. And since they have a Detroit connection? Bonus. I did a case study on them once in one of my classes because Clorox was trying to bully them and I loved their response and the way they handled it. Method is a super awesome company to promote!

At my Target, they had a display of some of the method products in one area and then they had more in different aisles according to what the products (laundry, hand soap, dishes, etc) were so you might have to look around a bit to find everything they have. But I really do love their products and how they smell so I hope you find some.
I love the shape of their bottles. I love the soap too.

I’ve always used Bath and Body Works soaps too but once I tried the method soaps I was instantly in love with them. They are all natural and the smells are fantastic. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to BBW.
