Besides saving a butt load of money on diapers and wipes, one of the other benefits of having an (almost) potty trained toddler is no more diaper bag.
For the past 3 years I’ve been carrying around a Vera Bradley diaper bag. I love the bag but over the years it’s become a little dirty and well, it’s a diaper bag and I want nothing to do with diapers.
So, I’ve got a new Piazza handbag on it’s way to me. Genuine leather, beautiful hardware, and no room for diapers. #winning
But…before I share with you what bag I ordered (and what color) I want to know what bag you would get.

I like #1 and #3. They’re both super cute and seem like they can carry a lot. I know you don’t need diapers anymore, but I think the big size is still needed. You’ll have to carry all the stuff toddlers still need…ie wipes (marker face, anyone? LOL), snacks and/or small toys. I always carry a big bag, baby or no baby!

But I never had a real diaper bag, I always used a handbag/shopper instead. And all the diaper related things I had in a plastic bag inside the handbag. This used to work perfectly, the bag over one shoulder and the baby on the other shoulder/arm. Gives you a great workout at the same time. Especially when the baby is getting bigger and heavier. Seriously.

My diaper bag was so big that it fit everything I needed and my husband would take it sometimes so I didn’t want to use a handbag as the diaper bag. But I know what you mean by a workout with the big bag and the kid. Both can be very heavy.

You should. They have a ton of bags from all different companies. I love the Kate Spade collection they have.
Luckily, Lucas always poops before we leave the house in the morning so I haven’t carried a diaper bag in over a year. I just stuff a diaper and wipes and any snacks he might need in my over-sized purse.
My favorite of the above is the Sorrento Shopper. I need a red bag!
