Even though Hayley doesn’t believe in Santa she was still spoiled this year with an iPod Touch because no Christmas is complete in my house without an Apple product.
We tried to wake Layla up at 7am to see what Santa had left for her but she informed us that “Santa not come here yet” and went back to sawing logs until I was finally about to wake her up at 8:30. She really is not a morning person.
After she finally woke from her beauty rest she had fun playing with her new presents.
All of the festivities wore my poor dog Roscoe out so he decided to nap. We took advantage and decorated him.
And the big news was that my brother in law finally proposed to his girlfriend so I’m going to have a new sister! We already considered her part of the family but now it will be official.
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday no matter what you did.

P.s…I got an iPad for Christmas & remember you mentioning some iPad apps before…are there any specific to the iPad vs the iPhone that I NEED?!
How sweet he proposed to you on Christmas. Congrats on the iPad. When you go to the app store it will tell you if an app is specific for the phone or the iPad. I have all of my apps on both devices. I can’t think of any that you need but I do love the Cuptakes app for my background images. So cute.

My aunt and her whole family are night owls – not morning people at all – and so a few years ago they started a new tradition. They stay up until after midnight so they can officially open their gifts on Christmas, and then they sleep in the next morning. (it works great if your kids aren’t doing the Santa thing) Next year my family is totally going to do it, because my daughter didn’t want to wake up early this year, either!

YAY for Apple products!! (Hubs put a new iPod Nano in my stocking – seeing as he kinda stole the one he got me LAST year for Christmas!!) your girls are adorable!! Goose didn’t get a full-blown kitchen (she has a second-hand one outside) but Gramma & Grampa did get her a Little Tikes Cupcake Kitchen, and I can’t TELL you how many plastic cupcakes with pretend sprinkles I’ve eaten since putting it together yesterday!
