In South Africa, after dinner in a restaurant they hand you a menu of dessert coffees … and many of them are liqueur with icecream blended, a little cream on top, and a dusting of chocolate … they have names like Don Pedro, Don Pasquale … yummy!

I have to say that this would be a really popular drink with a lot of my fellow Twitter moms L O L. I’m not a fan of Kahlua and I was banned for life from mixing liquor & caffeine due to an unfortunate incident in college involving a handle of SoCo & Coke. I’d elaborate, but I don’t really remember much.
We used decaf coffee for the drink because I don’t drink caffeine.
Maybe one day you will remember the rest of the story to share about the SoCo and Coke.

I’m sure you love that drink! I’ve never been able to do the kahlua/ice cream/coffee drinks. However, my two girlfriends from college who I get together with for girls weekends love them, so I will whip this up for them next time we’re together. I keep forgetting to tell you – but we’re addicted to your porn martinis now. You’re so cute at the end with your cheers and H in the background. John’s shirt makes me want to go out on a boat.
Those martinis are my favorite. Which reminds me I need more porn juice.

It’s called Coconut Bliss. I buy it at Whole Foods. My favorite one is the pineapple coconut. It’s so good.

that looks good. also, i like the word jiggers… never heard it before and the 12 year old in me giggled a bit every time i read it. maybe i’ve had to much caffiene today! makes me crazy!
The word jiggers is awesome. I didn’t know what it was for a long time but then I found out and use it as often as possible.

You have a sweet husband! I would need the alcohol-coffee free version. I’m thinking that might a little tricky. Though, I think a whole container of Coconut Bliss could still make me very happy.
Coconut Bliss by itself is chocolate paradise.
Not a fan of coffee flavored ANYTHING, but I must admit that does look yummy!
I think it tasted more like rum and chocolate to me. Maybe one week I’ll post a recipe you might actually like.
