This smoothie recipe is courtesy of my husband ( I can vouch it is delicious – especially after a long run at night):
1 banana
1 peeled apple
10 strawberries
1/2 cup orange juice
Small bottle of champagne (187 ml)
3 TBS honey
Ice
Blend for a long time so it’s really smooth (no one likes lumps in their supernova)
Pour
Enjoy!!!
Sorry, I didn’t have any pictures to share of it.

Anything with champagne and strawberries, I’m in. Next time, remember to take a picture before you drink it all. Have a great 4th of July!
Maybe next time I’ll remember the pictures.

Hey I’m game for champagne and strawberries! What time do you want me to come over?
Ha! Whenever you are ready to clean my house. I’ll make you a smoothie right after you are done.

Oh, my! That sounds delicious! Healthy, yet R-rated at the same time!!
I’m off to buy me some champagne…
How can you go wrong with healthy and R-rated all rolled into one?

I swear I came here this morning and didn’t see this. Wow – I’m really losing it. Even more than before. After trying your porn martinis last night, I now have another drink I need to add to try of yours. You’re going to get me all loopy!
It seems that it doesn’t take much for you to get loopy.

You nearly lost me at the run … but the champagne reeled me right back in
You can skip the run and just enjoy the drink if you prefer.

Now *that* sounds perfect! Yu-um! XO
Thank you!
Now we need Elena to make it and blog about it, too!
This can be a series where I post the recipe and Elena tries them out.
How many of these do I need to drink to get that damn song out of my head?
Probably a lot. You can thank my husband for the name.

Champagne makes anything better! Thanks for sharing!
Yes it does.
Sounds good! I’m a big champagne fan!
Me too.
If it’s anything like the name then I’m definitely going to try it! I expect to explode into a big fiery ball afterwards…
Ha! I hope you explode with enjoyment rather than with disgust.

That sounds so yummy! Maybe have to make it for our next date night
It is yummy. We have to start making it when the children aren’t around because they always ask for it.

This combo sounds awesome. The hubs makes something similar on special occasions. He adds raspberries and mango instead of the banana and apple and no honey. He usually has to surprise me with it, because if I ask for one, I’ll stand their impatiently waiting on the party mixxer to get it smooth enough. Thanks for sharing this version, I’m going to suggest he try this new idea of “mine”
I have a hard time being patient waiting for the mixer.
It really sounds great! I will have to try it with sparkling cider.
I think it would be good with cider. Then you could also share some with JDaniel.
